Samson Trinh is a music educator, administrator, composer, arranger, orchestrator, producer, conductor, and saxophonist. He's worked with Sara Bareilles, Colbie Caillat, George Clinton, Al Jarreau, Chris Kaswell, k.d. lang, Rene Marie, Nellie McKay, Jason Mraz, Christina Perri, The Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, The Temptations, Rob Thomas, and Paul Williams. Samson founded UKE ‘n’ ROLL, a ukulele education resource featured in USA Today, that published music and lessons for enthusiasts and educators, and co-authored The Complete Ukulele Method. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and Master of Music in Education at Virginia Commonwealth University and is certified in Orff-Schulwerk Levels 1 and 2. Samson resides in Los Angeles, CA, collaborating with the community, and teaches music at Westside Neighborhood School.
